SHOULD YOU PURCHASE A BROMPTON ONLINE?
There’s absolutely no benefit to buying your new Brompton online —either directly from Brompton, or through their new Amazon store— if you have an authorized Brompton dealer in your area. We, or your local authorized Brompton shop, can order a bike on your behalf from the same selection and put in in your hands fully assembled, prepped and tested. (Contrary to what most manufacturers claim, bikes do not arrive at your door “fully assembled”. Even Bromptons require thorough professional assembly for longevity, and proper and safe functioning. TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. Your next best option for finding a Brompton may be directly from the official Brompton website. Brompton has been making selected bike models available for direct purchase at intervals throughout the season. If you find one you like, you can purchase it, and choose the Click & Collect option at checkout (see screenshot) to have the bike shipped to Cosmic Bikes (or your local dealer if you’re not in the Chicagoland area). Choosing this option gets you FREE shipping, secure delivery, and will ensure that professional assembly and 90-day follow-up service will be included in your purchase price.
