Kelleys Island SP
Summary:
A large tract of glacial grooves, 15 feet deep and 35 feet wide, has been exposed by an historic quarrying operation, and is believed to be the largest example of glacial striations in the world.
Six miles of hiking trails within the park, with the most rugged being the East Quarry Trail, affording most time in the wilderness. It is a five-mile network of both hiking and biking trails that twist around the abandoned limestone quarry.
A variety of camping options, with non-electric sites situated along Lake Erie lakeshore.
