⏰ Walk-In Open Hours
Tuesday-Friday 12-7, Saturday 10-4
🗓 Appointments Available
Tuesday-Friday 10-12, Saturday 4-6
We’re closed on major holidays: New Years Eve & Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday & Friday, and Christmas Eve & Day.
Appointments: We recommend appointments for one-on-one consultations and test rides of specialty products such as recumbents, Bromptons and Hase Pino tandems.
We find customers have a much better experience when we have prepped the right selection of bikes, and can dedicate time to answer questions, adjust bikes properly, and help them compare options without feeling rushed.
You’re always welcome to stop in during walk-in hours for a preliminary conversation and an overview of what’s available, and so we can better understand your needs and narrow down most suitable options.
Traveling from out of town? You can also text us to arrange a consultation to make the best use of your time.

LOCATION
📍4641 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Chicago, IL 60630
DIRECTIONS
Cosmic Bikes is an independent, family-owned bicycle & outdoor shop conveniently located in the gray area between Portage Park and Jefferson Park.
Bike
If traveling by bike, you’ll find us on Milwaukee Ave about half-way between Montrose & Lawrence. There are several bike racks in front of our store, or you can bring your bike inside to avoid theft.
Transit
We are located three blocks South on Milwaukee from the Jefferson Park stop on the Blue Line and Metra. The Milwaukee bus stops less than 1/2 block of our location.
Car
The closest Interstate exit is west-bound Lawrence off I90, but we are also close to the Montrose, Wilson and Foster exits off I94.
Parking
Metered street parking is available in front of our location, and free parking is within short walking distance on neighborhood streets. Due to the popularity of the billiard hall upstairs, parking is tight on weekends, so please plan accordingly.
